Welcome to the Governors Bay website. Governors Bay is a small community on the outskirts of Christchurch, nestled under the Port Hills on the Lyttelton Harbour.

If you have just joined our community – a warm welcome and we hope the website will enable you to make contact with the many groups and be more aware of what Governors Bay has to offer.

Should you be a visitor, then we hope we can showcase our very beautiful Bay and give you links to explore further or take advantage of our accommodation and facilities.
