 Governors Bay Community Hall The Governors Bay Community Hall is available for hire. The Community Hall is located at the junction between Jetty Road and Cresswell Avenue, near the main entrance to the school. It is a great location for group meetings etc. Cost $5 per hour. To make a booking please contact David Stemmer on 3299 638, after 5pm St Cuthbert's Church Governors Bay’s St Cuthbert’s Church is located in Ohinetahi Valley (just after you have gone through the village heading towards Diamond Harbour). Although under the care of the Anglican Parish, St Cuthbert’s is a co-operating congregation and has services variously in the Anglican, Methodist and Presbyterian traditions. However, members of the congregation do not tend to limit themselves to attending the services only in “their” tradition, which leads to a greater fellowship amongst them. We welcome all, whether this is your first time or thousandth time in church. You are welcome whether you have a deep and mature faith in Christ; are uncertain and still seeking; or have no faith. Swimming Pool We have a small and very popular community swimming pool which is located near the Governors Bay Community Hall. The pool is open from December to March every year. You may buy a key to the pool for the season from the Governors Bay Hotel. For more information contact Nick on 3299 676. Tennis Governors Bay has two community tennis courts located off Ernest Adams Drive. There is no charge to use these courts, just turn up. Men's Sunday Morning Tennis 8.00am Sunday mornings.
